Office Staff Bios

Christopher Porter Camp Director You could say that Christopher has camp in his blood. Christopher came as a camper for seven summers and then worked during high school and college. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University, he headed to Dallas, Texas to play rugby and start a career in the Import Business. While in Dallas his thoughts were never far from camp and in 1997 he returned to his childhood home of Glenwood Springs to work year round at the camp. Christopher now leases the camp, and along with his wife Andrea, he cannot imagine a better place to raise their four children, Tucker (8), Tessa (6), and Brody (4), and Ruby Belle (3).

Bridget Cox, Crown City, Ohio Summer Secretary This is Bridget's fifth summer at the camp. She and her son, Mason, live in Southeastern Ohio. She is a junior high Math teacher at South Gallia Middle School and is also the quiz bowl team sponser. Bridget has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Ohio University and was Gallia County Teacher of the Year in 2009. The picture was her idea.

Sarah Borys, Palos Hills, Illinois Activities Coordinator I was born and raised in a South suburb of Chicago, Illinois. As an alumnus of Eastern Illinois University, I received a Bachelor's degree in special education and currently work at a high school near my hometown. When I have time to myself I enjoy soaking up the sun, telling jokes, and playing volleyball. If I had to choose a favorite activity it would be dressing up in costumes and playing with bouncy balls. I look forward to meeting your children and making memories that will last a lifetime!

Becca Marines, Wheaton, Illinois Program Coordinator This is Becca's second year at camp and she is so glad to be back! She is originally from Wheaton, Illinois, but is currently attending Purdue University. This fall she will be a senior studying Elementary Education. She loves climbing mountains and rafting.
